Sun Tool

The Sun Tool temporarily increases the amount of Sun shining on the tiles in an area. To use it, click in an area where you want more Sun.

The Sun Tool can be used to help farms that are far from the equator to get enough Sun. It ca also be used to evaporate water from oceans and lakes, in order to create clouds.

Cloud Tool

The Cloud Tool creates a cloud. To use it, click on the tile where you want to put a cloud.

You can use the Cloud Tool to get water to towns in very dry regions, where there are not many naturally occuring clouds. Using the Cloud Tool on existing clouds will add water to them, and eventually cause them to start raining.

Forest Tool

The Forest Tool creates and removes forests. To use it, click on an empty tile to create a forest, or on an existing forest to remove it.

Forests help the ground retain water by slowing evaporation, and provide nutrients to nearby tiles. Forests near fields will fertilize them, and help limited rainfall go further.

Mountain Tool

The Mountain Tool creates and destroys mountains. To use it, click on an empty tile to create a mountain, or click on a mountain to remove it.

Mountains block wind and clouds. Use a small group of mountains to direct wind currents. A line of mountains creates a steady supply of clouds and rain on one side, but prevents water from reaching the other.
