Grading policy

The programming practicum is a graded course by default (it used to be Pass/Fail).
Passing requires class attendance and solving at least 1 problem per week.
Other grades are determined according to the following table:

≤ 9 < D range or less

 

You are credited for problems solved by you or your team, as well as any problems you solve at HMC's mock contest or the official ACM regionals.
Problems solved during the in-class labs are worth 1.5 times ordinary problems in Spring 2011.
