Computer-Assisted Radiation Treatment Planning

The team designed and constructed a prototype software system for physicians' workstations to aid in proton-beam radiation-treatment planning (CT scan slices, automatic outlining, extrapolation, etc.).

The team constructed a network monitoring system based on the HostMIB (Management Information Base) specification, RFC 1514.
Excel Spreadsheet Compiler

The team prototyped a native-code compiler for the Excel(R) spreadsheet macro language. This showed a three-fold performance improvement over the current interpreted version.
