Resources for Consultants

The Consultants

So you think you might want to be a consultant?

This is altogether feasible. Every fall and spring semester, we hire around ten consultants to work shifts in the terminal room. Their job is to help people with Unix problems, answer the phone, and help fill requests made in regards to the computer science network. Consultants are selected on the basis of knowledge, ambition, and willingness to work. Some skill with Unix is necessary, as is willingness to work with people. If you are interested in joining one of the best teams around, ask a staff member for an application!

If you have questions or problems, email consultant@turing.cs.hmc.edu or ask someone for help.
