Unlockedterm

A simple usage guide

Unlockedterm is a simple script that allows consultants to quickly send email to people who leave themselves logged on in the terminal rooms, with out locking their screens. This proves to be a great security risk. Unlockedterm is used to remind people to not leave their sessions unlocked, by sending them and email stating that their terminal was unlocked.

General usage is simple. When a terminal window has been left unlocked open a xterm window and the prompt type:

% unlockterm First-Name Last-Name.

Unlock term takes two parameters, your first and last name. You name will appear at the end of the email message.

After you run the Unlockedterm program make sure to lock the user's terminal window.
