Baked Portabella Mushrooms (with cheese)

Portabella are the largest of cultivated mushrooms, extremely versatile cooking ingredients, and a perfect substitute for meat patties in most recipies for the veggie-eaters! see here for more info!

  1. Mix the onion, garlic, oil and vinegar and marinate the mushrooms in it for an hour. (Stand mushrooms upside down and pour mixture on them.)
  2. Place a slice of cheese on each mushroom.
  3. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes.
Note: The dish works just as well without the cheese.
