HMC Table Tennis

The HMC Table Tennis Club was founded on September 10,1995 in order to

promote the game of table tennis at Harvey Mudd College
aid its members in developing better table tennis skills and tactics
help table tennis players meet with one another
host a table tennis tournament towards the end of each semester

Club meetings are held every Tuesday 6:30-8 and Saturday Noon-2 in the Muddhole. Come down any time and stay as long as you like. Faculty, staff, and non-Mudd students are always welcome.

The HMCTTC Spring '97 Tournament was held April 19. Congratulations to the winners!

Big News!

On March 9 the ASHMC council approved funding for the purchase of a tournament quality ping pong table for the Muddhole! The table is now in place. Please help take good care of this great table ($900 list, but we got it very slightly used for $550!). Although TTC members sponsored the request for funding, it is important to note that this is a public table - not just for club use.

One aspect of the club is a league consisting of teams of 3 players who play in a round-robin series over the course of each semester. The Spring '96 winner was The Cardsharks, consisting of Brian Hartmann ('96), Rob Rakowsky ('96), and Ryan Gatti ('98).
