The ultimate irony of the "restoration" of the Ehrenberg and Schloßkopf ruins: the nearly finished museum, where completely fake "ancient" walls are topped off by an even more phony photograph of the ruins with forest behind them. I cannot fathom why even the most shallow tourist would prefer this to the real thing.
