    1. Network tools: telnet, ftp, web, gopher, archie. Short summary of the tool capabilities. Effort should center on the care and feeding of the tools, e.g., anonymous ftp, telnet, rlogin, uucp.

    2. TCP/IP and Routing. The basics of networking in the UNIX world. Cannot be done by CS125 student. This concerns the basics of the underlying networking protocols and the tools that an administrator would use to set up networking and to administer networking.
