In 1996, the IAB published RFC 1958, entitled 'Architectural Principles of the Internet.' The Internet has grown and evolved since then, and the above documents discuss some of those changes. Comment on the changes. One of the key points is determining responsibilities of the 'end' hosts and of the 'middle'. Remember that in the 90s processing power was not what it is today.
