Presentation Requirements
Introduction
There are various protocols, etc. that I would like
students to prepare for presentation/lecture.
These presentations should
be about 30 minutes, and at least answer the following
questions.
-
Why this protocol/topic?
What problem does it solve?
-
Be sure to indicate where the protocol fits in the TCP/IP
hierarchy
-
Be sure to indicate what applications, if any, depend on
the protocol
-
How is the protocol defined, e.g., RFC, papers, etc.?
Wikipedia is a valid
source for additional info.
-
Where is the protocol in the standards process?
-
Prepare at least 3 questions for the class that touch on
significant aspects of the protocol.
-
How does IPv6 affect your topic?
