Project Summary
The two dominant forms of reproduction occuring in nature are asexual and sexual reproduction. While sexual reproduction is the most prevalent method of reproduction, asexual reproduction is genetically more advantageous. This web page, aimed at first year college students, addresses the issue of asexual verus sexual reproduction and the theories for why sexual reproduction is so prevalent, despite its appearent genetic disadvantages. This project is part of Biology 52: Introduction to Biology at Harvey Mudd College where we are currently students. Use the links to explore the site and to learn more about this fascinating topic.
