Added Makefiles for the three directories in need of them.  I also put the
subversion keywords in all the source files.  I have to delete the old
method of keeping track of versions still (i kept it around in a comment
just in case) and I have to determine if putting the $Id$ keywork in a 
comment is appropriate.
