jCVS A Java Based CVS Client

jCVS is a Java based CVS Client. CVS is a source code control system based on RCS. The primary benefit of CVS is that it provides a server/client protocol which allows clients such as jCVS to be written. JCVS allows any Java1.1 capable machine to be a CVS client, providing for a totally distributed source code management system.

Be sure to check the detailed requirements list to be sure that you are completely prepared to use the jCVS application.

You might like to see a few screen shots before you go to the effort of downloading jCVS. Here is a full screen shot of jCVS in action and here is a snap shot of a project window.

Currently, the up.net site listed below is jCVS's primary distribution site. This is a favor to me. If someone on the net feels they have a site that could provide a better home for jCVS, or has a site that would provide better access for other countries, please email me.
