25/11/03: Extracted soundfiles from old Mac games, converted to .wav format, uploaded to http://www.cs.hmc.edu/~cweisige/stuff/sounds.zip
3/12/03: Terrain class is mostly implemented, but it needs debugging still; will get teammates' help with that.
4/12/03: Created four simple textures for use as ground. We have stone ground, patchy green stuff, weird cavelike earth, and alien blue & black:

For whatever reason, the stone background is much bigger than the others. I hope this won't slow things down overmuch, but if necessary it can be remade. All four are basic modifications of the "cloud" filter in Photoshop, which generates a random smooth image combining two colors, rather like the Terrain's generate() function only better. I suspect that we'll want to implement random terrain choice when we add these in, just to make things more interesting.
8/12/03: (Retroactive update of Wiki) Fixed collision detection, permanently this time (I hope). Made the terrain look nicer, including elimination of tiling effects, and the addition of altitude-based shading. Fiddled a bit with constants to make the game easier.
