I worked on LSD more tonight. I am starting to have something of a prototype, though its only partially working and has many bugs, glitches, 911 comments (meaning the code should be replaced eventually), NULL Reference Exceptions, and the like. Since I seriously doubt that either of my teammates have really worked on the code, nor do I expect them to read this Wiki, I can make fun of them now. Wait, no...that wasn't what I wanted to say. The code stored on my H: drive is the most updated and will eventually be the basis for our game, I'm expecting. I know what I've programmed into it, and roughly what still needs to be done. Talk to me if you have any questions. I'll have more details on what I've been doing at a later time...like when I have something significant to report, and its not 2:34 in the morning. Good night.

Wow! You can get a lot done in 6 hours of coding! Anyhoo, yeah, so I worked on the project for several hours today and it has come quite a ways. The prototype is almost finished, with just a little problem concerning firing the ball at an angle...it freezes. But it wasn't doing this on a normal plane, so firing the ball itself works, and so does aiming it. The turns iterate fine. The starting positions of the tanks are randomized now, but will maintain a minimum distance from each other. The collisions with both triangles and tanks are flawless (as far as I know). Gravity could be implemented, but is still being left out for debugging reasons...but soon that will change. Much has been done in the way of encapsulating old code, rewriting old sloppy code, and just generally cleaning up the code (thanks Krislin!), but there is still plenty more to be done. Krislin, since I doubt she will post on Wiki, though she might, also was with me coding for the first 3 hours and did much of the cleaning up and rewriting of code, along with some debugging. She also wrote the aiming stuff. It has come time for me to give this project up for the night, however. The latest code is on my website (www.cs.hmc.edu/~jseene) as one nice, big, happy, zip file.
