Our Sponsee Roundup game prototype is a fully playable game, though not all features are yet implemented. The following features have been successfully implemented:
Marston Quad background
One professor and one upperclassman sprite
Two sponsee sprites
Fully functional professor class
Fully functional upperclassman class
Fully functional sponsor class
Fully functional sponsee class
Simple score scheme based on time and killing enemies (professors and upperclassmen)
Forces that effect NPCs (attractive, repulsive, drag)
Player's bullets push sponsees and kill enemies
Sponsees bounce off of each other
Collisions between player and enemy kills enemy
Enemies die at the edge of the screen
Enemies appear at a probabalistic rate
Sponsees die at edge of screen
Player loses life when sponsee dies
Game over when all lives are lost or all sponsees are dead
The following features need to be added to complete the game:
Advanced level structure
Additional sponsees as level increases
Enemies enter at a higher rate as level increases
More enemies on screen at one time as level increases

In the final version of the game, we implemented all of the features we said we would above, except for enemies entering at a higher rate as level increases (we felt, after playtesting, that this was unnecessary). In addition, we added in sound effects, powerups, and splash screens when the game starts and ends. Likewise, we improved over the prototype by improving the way that the background and sprites look.
