Working with Evan, we got the player to alternate between facing left and right, and only be able to shoot in the direction it faces! We also fixed the problem where the player could jump infinitely high on the screen, by adding a jump delay. The player can now jump while on a platform. Working with Janna, we implemented our new types of items/enemies, although our bitmaps are still having some problems.

Naively implemented shooting, but as it stands the player only aims straight up. We have a few bitmaps, and I was able to change the background, but it still looks distorted because of our border/zoom issues. Worked with Evan to figure out why the player can't jump when he lands on a platform. We'll work on that later. Changed level exit collide code from "entirely within exit" to "touching exit", seems better this way.

Figured out how to implement cCritterWalls as platforms in our game. Having trouble with border sizing and jumping/aiming/shooting but we can figure that out later.
