It's a frantic night in the Mudd computing labs, and one brave soul is charged with keeping the printers running smoothly. The player takes the role of a CIS staff member, and must navigate the hazards of the Academic Computing labs in order to rush supplies to needy, broken printers. Students will unwittingly hinder you, paper jams will strike fear into your heart, and print queues will fill with assignment after assignment. All these challenges and more await the intrepid Heroes of CIS!

The prototype for Heroes Of CIS should resolve the major risks of our project. The player should be able to move around the playfield using standard four-directional controls, obtain supplies from the supply cabinet, and fix broken printers. The printers should break at somewhat random intervals. It should include a functioning print queue that starts out empty, increases while any printer is broken, and decreases while all printers are repaired. A full print queue should trigger game end. There should be some kind of enemies in the playfield, though they may just move in straight lines and bounce off of objects. The enemies do not need to hamper the player in any way other than bumping into them.
