Assignment Submission Policy
Unless specified otherwise, homework
assignments will be due on Monday by 11:59 PM. (Since we
use an automated procedure to determine submission time, if you submit
even slightly after midnight, it will be recorded as being submitted
the next day.) You have three late days (aka "CS42 Euros") which you can use on
your assignments at your discretion. You don't need to ask permission
to use these late days. Using a euro allows you to turn in the
assignment 24 hours later than the official due date. Late days may
not be combined. That is, you may use no more than one late
day on any single assignment. Late homeworks will not be accepted
once these late days have been used unless you have received
permission in advance.
Homework submitted more than 24 hours after the deadline will not be accepted.
If
you have an emergency or illness that prevents you from submitting your
homework on time, you must get permission from the Associate Dean for
Academic Affairs (Dean Jacobsen) in advance.
