v1 v2 1 1 We addressed the following issues in our final UI design: 2 * we improved the tutorial by adding a sequence of introduction popups 3 * we made it easier to see what buttons the user should click on by highlighting them 4 * we changed the font, font size, and font color to make the meter text more readable 2 * We added a page in the tutorial about the meters 3 * We changed the font, font size, and font color to make the meter text more readable. (Previous slides were not updated with the font and color, as we didn't think it was necessary) 4 * Meters now show the change in values after each turn 5 * A turn summary appears after end turn is clicked to summarize the user's actions and consequences 5 6 * we fixed small aesthetic issues such as 6 * the light border around the end turn button 7 * the location of the game title was 5 pixels too far left 7 * the light border around the end turn button 8 * the location of the game title was 5 pixels too far left (See last slide for the aesthetic changes) 9 * Although we had some comments about putting numbers for our tax levels, there were very mixed opinions about this. We ended up leaving the levels the way they were as we felt like setting arbitrary tax levels would not add to the understanding of the economic concepts. However, numbers and qualitative levels are added for the display of prices when the user hovers over a resource.
