Describe the new page here.
"...a scientist of language is a special sort of creature who needs to be as interested in human life, in human community and culture, as he is in the biological determinants of language." -Oliver Sacks, Seeing Voices

Phrase coined by TracyvanCort to describe herself and all others with a dorky interest in linguistics, the study not necessarily of any language in particular, but of the features and functions of all languages. A LingDork is not necessarily a linguist (or even a cunning linguist) or a linguistics major, just someone interested in language and kinda dorky about it.
