But I'm a Cheerleader
The daughter in a good Christian family, cheerleading Megan, is suspected by her friends and family to have homosexual tendencies. To protect their child from entering a lifestyle of filth and damnation, they send her off to "True Directions," a three-month camp to teach how great it is to be straight. A comedy and a must-see for hot teen girl-on-girl action (and a tiny bit of boy-on-boy action).
- "My favorite movie of the summer!" raves movie-goer KimEspinoza. This movie had great visuals with rich use of color and texture. It was very funny and gay.
- ChrisPries: this movie was both nifty and keen. it had a fan-tab-u-lous use of color and vinyl. plus it made good use of motion and lesbian luv music. and non luv music too.
- JoeFrosh thought it was quite good and funny, if rather improbable (esp. the last bit). I kept smiling about it for several minutes after I left the theatre....(later) that doesn't sound too enthusiastic, does it? Well, I'm just not very good at expressing enthusiasm, 'cause it was good enough to be enthusiastic about.
- JessicaFisher was incredibly amused by it. Yay funny movie! Yay movie that teaches people that homophobia is bad! Yay movie with amusing cheerleader! And lots of other amusing characters!
- NickTaylor found the movie to be a bit trite and stereotyped, but thought that it's heart was in the right place. On the other hand, it was really funny, especially the first makeout scene between Megan and her "boyfriend."
