According to the MuddSpeak section of the HarveyMuddCollege LookBook, one who is so dedicated to engineering that they decide to spend an extra year at Mudd, picking up a Master's in engineering, and more free wine, beer, and cheese.

This only currently exists (2008) in the form of engineering majors taking an extra term or two to graduate. The 5th-year Master's program was dropped before I (PhilMiller, '08) was born, over issues of accreditation.
