In the fall of 2023, there was a special special version of FroshChem called Helium taught by ProfessorHC? (and cotaught by her service dog Hammy). This was a trainwreck, which was not entirely her fault since she tried to put it together in a short timeframe and all alone. But, still, it was a kinda fun train wreck. The people were glad it was PassFail. They were told to find the structure of Benadryl from spectra, but told to ignore key points of NMR, in order to solve a fake murder mystery game. This problem confused ProfessorBrucks (the OrganicChemistry Professor) and LieselHilkemeyer and ColePlepels. This version was promptly discontinued, probably for good reason. |

Really, you froshlings may not think so now, but ... well, take our word for it.
Though this be madness, yet there is methyl in't.
Also, one of the computers in the graphics lab, right alongside the other supervillans.

As of 2006-2007 (although this really began in 2005), the FroshChem Test no longer exists and has been replaced with a FroshPhysics Test. The new format of FroshChem involves three different sections of material all being taught concurrently. For the first semester, this is:
For the second semester, this is:
As of 2007-2008, the first semester chem includes:
For the second semester, this is:
First semester: Alpha, Beta, Gamma Modules (3x2?)
Second Semester: Alpha and Beta Modules (2x3?)
They fixed it at the start of the new semester though, so it's all good.
As of the fall of 2022, due to the new Core revisions, frosh chem has been condensed in to one semester. The damage that will come from this is yet to be seen. -JamesNicholson
