The only true document formatting language. Unless you count other TeX variants. * Bah. TeX is the only true way. LaTeX is a bloated, unnecessary waste and an abuse of the TeX macro system. And it's ForWussies. DonaldKnuth hates LaTeX. Excellent for writing technical documents. TeX's abilities to typeset mathematical formulas are way beyond anything else. Its algorithm for optimum line breaks in paragraphs has been around for years, yet hardly any other software uses it. Result: LaTeX makes your documents look better. Plus, it's a macro language, so you can program it to do just about anything, if you're in to that type of thing. See UsefulComputerSites ----- And mathematicians do it in LaTeX.
