Buoys stranded by the outgoing tide on a British beach. I have no idea what the buoys mark, or whether they are intended as moorings. A T-shirt and sandal are affixed to the "handle" of the closer buoy. Despite the apparent isolation of the photograph, the beach was actually populated with quite a few people.
