There always comes that time when a baby needs a serious cleaning. At first, Alexandra thought that the warm water was pretty neat.

But once the shirt came off, she wasn't quite so happy.

Geoff's mother and brothers came to visit. Uncle Shelby is a natural cuddler, while Uncle Brad demonstrates a talent for taking it easy while the baby naps.

But of course there is none so happy as Grandma Kuenning with her first (but not last) grandchild.

Pat got to celebrate her first-ever Mother's Day with a brunch at a nice restaurant.

A couple of days later, we drove up Mount Baldy and Xandie encountered her first snowstorm. As you can see,she was tremendously impressed.

Finally, we visited The Independent Adoption Center to do some paperwork, and got a group shot featuring everybody who helped us with the adoption. (From left: Ellen Slayton, Geoff, Xandie, Pat, Jennifer Fink, and Kimberley Herkenrath.)
