Xandie just might be the happiest baby around, and with good reason: everybody loves her. She made another trip to San Francisco, and as you can see, she's getting to be an old hand on airplanes.
In San Francisco, she finally got to meet the rest of her relatives. Here, Cousin Tyler entertains Xandie while Aunt Carolyn gives her a bottle.
After only a little bit of coaching, Tyler became a pro at baby-feeding.
After all of his experience with his own kids, Uncle Alan was right at home taking care of a new infant. We're going to hire him as a babysitter as soon as we can figure out how he's going to commute from Seattle.
All was not easy for Xandie, though. In a cutthroat game of Scrabble, Pat needed a bit of help from the Wunderkind's inventive mind.
After the game, Xandie celebrated her overwhelming victory. This is the first time in history that a Scrabble game was won with by playing "xjawzqo" on a triple-word square.
As soon as we returned from San Francisco, it was time to move to our new home in Claremont. Everything had to be packed into a box for the move. Xandie wasn't quite sure about that idea at first, but she soon decided that she'd be able to entertain herself on the truck.
|
The movers thought she was the sweetest load they'd ever carried.
Xandie hasn't stopped learning, of course. She finally found her feet, and is very proud of her new accomplishment.
The big news is that she has started eating solid food (in small quantities). Mommy loves helping Xandie eat and cleaning up afterwards. Yum!
