AlexBobbs: I have never read any of the HarryPotter books and so I was able to just sit back and enjoy the story for the first time, which I greatly did. The world the movie created was simply facinating; I loved how magical and animated the school looked in every scene. The special effects were used very well, IMHO. Acting and script were pretty good but not exceptional, and the plot, while somewhat scatterbrained, was interesting and certainly maintained my interest throughout. I didn't quite buy into the surprise ending, but whatever... Oh yeah, and the Quidditch scene rocks!
