Not wholy sure why this page exists, but I suspect the above is some indication that content should run along the lines of the VideoGameRace that occurred involving this game... said race involved 2 copies of the game/N64s?/TVs?/etc., and about 3 and a half hours in the lounge. EvilSouthie and I started at the same time, and played though to the end... he finished in about 2 and a half hours, whereupon I started screwing around and took an additional hour.
As you may surmise from the above, the game is rather short once you've played through it once or twice and know where things are. Also rather easy, and lives are irrelevant. If a similar race were to occur again, I recommend using SuperMarioSunshine? which is perhaps 50% longer (I beat it in about 5 hours not too long ago) and actually require some skill.
...but then, I don't really anticipate this sort of thing happening again unless people get really bored.
