I think you miss the point of this page. Not evil. Not "evil in a sweet and innocent disguise."
Hey now. Dungeon masters are sweet, kind people who work very hard for their players' enjoyment. And if they sometimes appear to be cackling over their players' agony, that is just a trick of the light. You didn't really see that.
