Where have all the Froggies Gone?
Nermit the Activist
So after Nermit's travels and learning, he wanted to help fellow frogs.  Nermit became active and continued to do research on frogs.  He joined programs like Frog Force, and helped researchers in their studies.  Nermit also knew that preserving the environment would help frogs and humans.  So now he helps protect the environment by reducing, reusing, and recycling, conserving water, preserving the land and supporting environment groups.

The End

  What have we learned?
Frogs and toads are disappearing all around the world and some are even turning up with really gross mutations.  Every year there are fewer and fewer of them in the ponds and forests where they used to live.  Some species, like the Golden Tree Frog, have slipped through the cracks, and may even be extinct now.  There are lots of reasons why this is happening: UV radiation, pollution and chemicals, fungus, and habitat destruction.  There may even be other reasons that haven't been discovered yet.  This is important to all of us because it reflects the state of our world today and the health of all of its living creatures.
