Jardim Botanico

Margie at the beginning of our walk around the botanic gardens in Rio.

I was trying to be artistic. At least I had good subject material. ;)

While somewhat treacherous, the roots along the paths were pretty neat.

It was a nice sunny day, but the forest was actually a cool pleasant temperature.

I don't know what those are, but they're big and prickly.

I'm a fan of big bright flowers that bloom in midwinter, so I made Margie pose with this one.

The gardens have an amazing orchid collection, but only a few were in bloom.

I thought this bridge was really cute.
