A little about me...

I'm a 23 year old native of Seattle, WA. I went to school down near LA at a little place called Harvey Mudd College and graduated with a BS in mathematical biology.

After traveling the world for a year studying cultural dances on a Watson Fellowship, I am currently working at UCLA as a research assistant to Professor Sally Blower. My interests are extremely diverse, including science (anything related to biology), dancing (no, really?), hiking, rock climbing, ultimate frisbee, computer games (real time strategy and RPGs), roleplaying, studying portuguese, and using parenthetical asides.

On my fellowship I studied samba, forro, and capoeira in Brazil, la cueca in Chile, tango in Argentina, and a variety of rhythms in Cape Verde.
