Tango

This couple was very good, and the setting was fantastic. The church in the background is the oldest in Buenos Aires, and the cemetary is just to the left.

Me, Nestor, Sarah, and Monica. Sarah took a leave from Yale to travel in South America and dance. We took lessons together with Nestor and Monica, who are both incredibly sweet.

My last night, Sarah and I went to a tango show and dinner at a place called Taconeando. The stage was tiny, but they had a live tango quartet, two singers, and three dance couples.

It was very hard to get pictures in the dark, but a couple turned out well. This one has a good feel- on the edge of movement.

I love how the only thing in focus is her ankle.

And a final dramatic pose--that's what tango is all about.
