[Home]OtherlandCityOfGoldenShadow

No diff available--this is the first major revision. (minor diff)
I finally broke down and read Otherland: City of Golden Shadow, by Tad Williams, and found that once again, the subject matter matters much less than the author. Certain authors reliably put out high-quality material, while others run hot and cold (Orson Scott Card is a notable member of the latter category). I like the pacing of Otherland a bit more than that of Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn, though I suspect that the heroes are once again going to vastly outmatched and outwitted by the villains, only to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat at the last moment. I want to read the rest of the series, but I'm waiting until it comes out in paperback.--CurtisVinson
