Groove Not to be confused with the many rave/party documentaries coming out this summer, this is actually a drama that happens to be set at a rave. Surprisingly well-acted, with excellent balance of several story lines (some serious, some funny), and some good DJ dance music. It could actually use more of the latter, and louder. Anyway, MattBrubeck recommends this movie. * KimEspinoza: I thought it was good, but a little TOO loud. It hurt my ears the whole time. It kinda makes you want to go dancing after it though (unless you are super sleepy). * JoeFrosh saw this in the smallest theatre he's ever seen. 31 seats. The screen was probably smaller than the one in Galileo. I liked the movie, pretty much. It made me wish I had been to more small raves. CategoryMovie |
