 I am alone

 Nobody talks to me
 And i listen
 But do not understand

 Empty faces
 With empty names
 Traverse the empty room
 Transparent in my searching gaze

 I stare into the void
 Chilled and horrified
 By the wandering shades

 I am crowded
 Suffocating in nothing
 There is no solid handhold
 It is so hard to keep my head
 above these dark waters

 I am alone
 Because i do not want to be like them
 Empty inside
