I held mentor sessions twice a week and graded assignments. The class was taught in Java, and covered basic programming and object-oriented design.

I held mentor sessions twice a week. The class covered the core topics of single variable calculus, as well as an introduction to modeling and differential equations, in the context of problems from the life sciences.

I was a lab mentor and held mentor sessions once a week. The class was taught in Python, and covered basic programming, models of computation, and applications of computer science to artificial intelligence.

I was a lab mentor and held mentor sessions once a week.The class was taught in C with some x86 assembly, and covered core concepts in computer systems, such as processor architecture, program optimization, debugging with gdb, and client-server architecture.

I worked in a hardware lab on TV tuner units (part of a set top box package). I wrote scripts in Lua and Python to test development hardware and perform factory verification of production hardware. I also made basic hardware modifications on development hardware, involving soldering.

I validated and debugged a video-on-demand web site written in PHP. I also performed regression, compatibility, and stability testing of RTSP and HLS video streams on iOS, Android, and BlackBerry devices. Additionally, I wrote demo scripts for social media applications on a set top box.

I helped implement Dmdedup, an inline block-layer deduplication system for the Linux kernel that uses the device mapper framework. I also helped implement support for two file system hints in Dmdedup. Additionally, I wrote bash scripts to measure some Dmdedup performance statistics.
