Challenge 4 — Other Systems
Due: Monday, February 17 at 4:15 p.m. (in class)
Up to now, we've mostly used the ZX Spectrum as our primary example of a retrocomputing system. But there are many other systems out there, each with its own unique features and quirks. In this challenge we broaden our horizons by exploring other retrocomputing systems.
Option 1: VCF SoCal
For most members of the class, this challenge involves attending the Vintage Computer Festival in Southern California to learn about other retrocomputing systems.
If you attend VFC
Be ready to share what you discovered about other systems at the festival in class on Monday. Taking photos and notes is encouraged!
Option 2: Explpring Other Systems on Your Own
If you can't attend VCF, you can still complete this challenge by exploring other retrocomputing systems on your own. In the resources section, yoo'll find the following pages:
