Challenge 5 — Getting to Grips Other Systems
Due: Monday, February 24 at 4:15 p.m. (in class)
Last week most people in the class attended the SoCal Vintage Computer Festival and saw a number of different systems. Now you have to choose a system to explore in more depth, and be ready to give a short demo in class on Monday.
Before you start…
- If you want stay with the same team (or solo) arrangement as Challenge 1 or 2, you use your existing repository and create a
Challenge05directory in it. - If you want to work with a new group (or switch to solo work) Accept the Challenge on GitHub Classroom.
- There is no starter code in the repository, so don't worry if you don't see anything much there. It's up to you to add material to the repository (in the
Challenge05directory) and then push your changes to GitHub.

Demo Suggestions
You have broad latitude in what you can do for your demo. Here are some ideas:
- Port your ZX Spectrum game to the new system
- Write a new game for the new system
- Write a new program that demonstrates some interesting feature of the new system
- Showcase software that was popular on the new system, ideally software that is in some ways surprising or interesting in terms of what can be done on the system
