About Me
The main reason for showing your name here is to help you confirm that you're logged into the right account. If you see someone else's name here, please log out and log back in with the correct account.
Participation
Class participation is assessed holistically based on your own self-assessment data and Prof. Melissa's observations of your engagement in class.
Lab Grades
This section shows your scores on lab assignments.

Notes about specific labs:
- Lab 1 — Bits
- The only thing people lost points for on this assignment were small style issues (lack of comments, over-complicated code, etc.).
- Lab 2 — Debugging
- See this page for detailed grading information.
- Lab 3 — Bomb Lab
- Everyone did great on this one!
- Lab 4 — Ring Buffer
- Everyone's code worked. A few people lost points for submitting code that didn't compile because of some last-minute change or spurious print statements.
Quizzes
This section shows your scores on course quizzes.

Exams
This section shows your scores on the midterm and a guess for your grade on the final based on your performance on the midterm.
You can see detailed grading information for the midterm on the midterm exam page.
Overall
This section shows your overall grade in the course, which is a weighted average of your scores for participation, labs, quizzes, and exams. Because the course is not complete yet, this grade is just a guess based on the work you've done so far, but it should give you a sense of how you're doing in the course and where you might want to focus your efforts for the rest of the semester.
Wrapping Up
Hopefully the above information is helpful in giving you a sense of how you're doing in the course. If any grade in any of these sections seems very different from what you were expecting, talk to Prof. Melissa about it in case something went awry.
(When logged in, completion status appears here.)
