The PermanentFund, once you boil away the pretenses, is a tax collected from the people of the WestCoast? and paid to the people of AlaskaUsa. Each resident of AlaskaUsa annually recieves, depending on the performance of various economies, approximately $1,900. Doing the 'math', this is effectively a head tax of $28 on the combined citizenry of California, Oregon, and Washington; the proceeds of which go straight to Alaskans.

Where do you pay this lovely subsidy? Why at the gas pumps, of course. It's that Prudhoe Crude you love to burn and breathe.
