A big university in the wacky town of Berkeley. Excellent MatheMatics department. Lots of good, inexpensive places to eat. Great bookstores. More (and sometimes better informed) activists than PitzerCollege. Bad football team which almost invariably loses the BigGame? with StanFord, but their band does really cool shows. (e.g., the Michael Jackson show, the Bon Jovi show...)
