Professor Calden Wloka

Calden Wloka is a Visiting Assistant Professor at Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, California. Previously, Calden earned his PhD from York University as a member of the Tsotsos' Lab for Active and Attentive Vision. Calden's research focuses on visual attention modeling and evaluating the robustness of artificial visual systems in novel or unconstrained environments.

Professor Ben Wiedermann

Ben Ben has been a professor at Harvey Mudd for 10 years. His general research interests are in programming languages. He likes to design new programming languages and tools, especially for people who might not consider themselves to be programmers. He received his B.A. in CS from Boston University and his Ph.D. in CS from UT Austin.

Professor George Montañez

George D. Montañez is the Iris and Howard Critchell Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Harvey Mudd College. He holds a PhD in machine learning from Carnegie Mellon University, an MS in computer science from Baylor University, and a BS in computer science from the University of California-Riverside. Prof. George previously worked in industry as a data scientist (Microsoft AI+R), software engineer (Prestige Software), and web developer (360 Hubs, Inc.). His current research explores why machine learning works from a search and dependence perspective, and identifies information constraints on general search processes. He is the director of the AMISTAD Lab.

Professor Lucas Bang

Lucas Bang is an assistant professor of computer science at Harvey Mudd College. He obtained his PhD in computer science from The University of California, Santa Barbara.
