Say WHAT?

There are times in every person's life when he looks up in amazement at a sentence that he has just heard or read. Perhaps it is for its great profundity, or perhaps its irony. Maybe it's just the funniest or most dirty-minded thing he's heard said in a while. At any rate, he looks. Here now is a list of phrases which have made me think, "Say what?"
