For the past 5 years, Prof. Alvarado’s research team has been developing a system for recognizing hand-drawn digital circuit diagrams. The day when that system is ready for use is here! (Well, sort of…). In this talk we will present LogiSketch, our complete system for recognizing and simulating hand-drawn digital circuit diagrams. The talk will address the recognition challenges that we had to address this past summer, as well as the many important user interface challenges, as well as our solutions to both sets of problems. We can’t promise a live-demo, but attendees will be invited to try out the system after the talk concludes.
