At this special time of year, we experience those special joys that this season offers, a time when people gather together to celebrate and toast the season and a time when we look forward to the holidays that take place at this time of year, holidays where we may celebrate this special season. Thus, at this “wonderful time of the year” it seems sensible for the CS department to gather together for its own celebration of seasonal festivities. Come, share your seasonal joys (nonspecifically, of course) and wish your professors, staff, and fellow students the happiest of holidays and a season filled with seasonal cheer, and perhaps voice the hope that their next twelve months may be happy as well.

In addition to the food, drink, company, and seasonal thoughts, our illustrious department chair, Mike Erlinger, will have a few announcements to make that may interest you.
